Fascinated with aviation from a young age, Matthew is excited to be a part of ushering in a new generation of aerial technology that integrates drones and electric aircraft into the aviation system. He holds Private Pilot and Uncrewed Aircraft Systems licenses with the FAA, and is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives. In addition to his flight experience, Matthew’s diverse career in aviation has included being an FAA certified aircraft firefighter, an airport planning manager, and an airfield operations supervisor at some of the world’s busiest airports. He has also held positions in airport project management and UAS/AAM development.

Matthew is a dedicated husband to his amazing wife and proud father to four wonderful boys. When he’s away from the airfield, you can usually find him hunting and enjoying all outdoor activities. He’s a passionate sports fan, whether watching his boys play baseball or catching a professional game.
